Brickit presents new blog and the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3

We are very proud to present the newest addition to our website, the Brickit Blog! It has been a great desire and a long-lived dream for both of us, to have our own blog, where we can write about what's new in the world of LEGO® MINDSTORMS®, what we do with LEGO MINDSTORMS and also what others are doing as well. We are planning on writing about the models we have developed (and are developing), the events we are participating in, and about who we are, so we are hoping you will enjoy reading our blog and follow our continuous journey into the world of LEGO MINDSTORMS!

That said, we'll kick-off our blog by presenting the third generation of LEGO MINDSTORMS, named the EV3, which were presented at CES in Las Vegas, USA last month! Having been announced for a month, we won't use much time on the specifics (for now!), as you might have come across those on other sites. We will however show you a little video (courtesy of ARMdevices.net), that we think summarises the EV3 product very well for both the Education and Retail line. And if you stay around to see the full video, you'll notice a familiar face! ;-)

We will also use this opportunity to congratulate the LEGO Group with the 15 years anniversary for LEGO MINDSTORMS and we hope there will be many more with what we believe is the best toolkit for children to learn robotics (or just having fun)!

Besides creating this blog, we are now also on Twitter (follow Brickitdk)! We'll use our Twitter account to notify you of new blogposts, as well as tweet during the events we participate in.

Right, we're off to prepare our stuff for LEGO World Denmark, which is taking place at Bella Center, Copenhagen from Thursday the 14th to Sunday the 17th of February. The LEGO MINDSTORMS Retail team is showing off the EV3 and the first 5 models to the public for the first time and we'll be there with the Cargo Terminal as usual. Sadly the BISC won't be present, but there will be a fullsize LEGO MINDSTORMS Wheelchair (made by Simon Burfield), that you can have a go at instead. And oh, we have made a large improvement to the Cargo Terminal, that might be of some interest to you! We're hoping to see many of you at the event!

Until next time!
